Integrity Toys IDEX Line

There were LOTS of Hits and some misses with the Integrity 2012 Idex line
I'm going to focus on my favorites and if you're looking for a more complete round up check Shuga's blog for more pics.
First, The Monograms Above for me is the Best one: Admiration
The suite is beautiful as well as the doll but I could do without the hat and the blouse underneath as well as the $160 price tag.
Since there are still plenty of over priced Holiday Monograms to go around I think I'll wait for this one to go on clearance

Allure is the next Monogram that seems to be very popular. However, I think the platinum hair washes the doll out because of the dress color and pale skin. Allure's dress also bares to close of a resemblance to Supresize Barbie's gown. I like the cape, but I've been told it looks like something some old southern drag queen would feature so I'm going to hold on this one for now.

16 Inches is just to damn big for a doll. So I'll pass on all the giants including this stunning beauty Freja
She has nice tits! But 16 is just to damn big for me!
I would have also snatched up this 16 inch Love Letters Poppy Parker if she was regular sized In fact the 16 inch Poppy's were really outstanding But many (Wboard and elsewhere) were disappointed by their size

During the Video presentation Roth referred to the Breakfast At Tiffany's Line as a "success"
Please define success.
I'm sure some of the dealers would like you to do the same.
This incarnation of  "Poppy Parker as Sabrina" at first, sounds extremely unnecessary but it seems to be a hit and gathered more buzz than the original BAT line. Check out this little number....

The Poppy Hit was her boyfriend Chip!
He's very cute and affordable but the accompanying Poppy has a dress that looks like a Dominican wedding cake so I'll wait for Chip to be available alone

What seems to have sold out the quickest is the Hansel and Gretel. Though not my style they are cutting edge and inventive.
Hansel looks like a gay Homer Simpson to me

So, Gobble these gems up and pay form them soon!
Some will be shipping as soon as February!
Don't forget we still have the Spring 2012 line headed are way!

Barbie "MINI" Cooper!

There are some good things about this new Barbie Mini cooper and some bad!
First the good: Mattel finally discovered it may be possible to produce an accessory for Barbie that is NOT pink!
Hooray for those brave sun stained little risk takers!
Barbie's "mini" is a wonderful little true to life red/wine color.
Perhaps this is because the Mini actually belongs to "Ken"
However, he is the driver whenever they're in a vehicle together despite its pink color.

NOW
The disappointing BAD
Of course, in true Mattel style the automobile is NOT built to scale.

The Heads pop out of the car from chest up.
The packaging doesn't show it well but once you bring this baby home you'll find it odd!
So, if you were looking to add this to your adult collection.... You may want to skip it.
This Mini may be on scale for Dynamite Girls or Poppy Parker (barely) but NOT Barbie or Fashion Royalty!

The $29.00 price point does nothing to help the cause or indulgence!

Fashion Royalty FR2 Veronique Lets Her Hair Down

If you were thinking of taking your lottery win; The Official 10Th Anniversary Celebration Forever Veronique Perrin FR2,  hair down you may be in for a little surprise.
Though the dolls head is not bald, as some may have feared it will require a little 'housekeeping" (to quote Carol Roth.)
We can thank Steven Prokop for performing the brave task of unraveling this cryptic fashion quaff.
Though the hair is cut at various lengths, and appears to be nappy or sticky (because of the hair spray applied to hold the original styles shape) Veronique may be open to several styles and of course a reroot (partial or full)

It's understandable (with the hefty cost for the item: $175 ) that you are feeling very apprehensive about detangling this pricey weave. So, these pictures will serve to ease or solidify your quivering knees!
GOOD LUCK
And
Go Have Fun!

Dynamite GIrls In The City Cruz Video Below

The highly anticipated and controversial In The City Cruz arrived at dealers this week (Earlier than expected I think)
The doll is a definite knock out and another win for Dynamite designer David Buttry
Curz, who is supposed to be a Latino Bronx native is very relevant to today's times of the popular club hopping '"Guido" popularized by MTV's Jersey Shore
My only complaint is the black shoes
Obviously the designer lives in Florida and doesn't know that Timberlands is the choice of the hippest thugs, Guidos and hotties of the upper east coast.
So, I'll just pick up a pair of 1:6 scale boots on Ebay
Some other people want to cut down the faux hawk.
Nevertheless
Cruz is still very popular on the secondary market and probably the most popular "Homme" since
