THE DYNAMITE GIRLS IN THE CITY DRAMA!

Thursday Afternoon the drama was unleashed and dealers were bombarded with calls and emails for the new Dynamite Girls In The City Collection. Particularly the boy Cruz.

My Dealer Happily Ever After in Philadelphia said they received 90 emails in just two hours!

The day after was when the most disgusting qualities came out in official dealers.

Some of these low lifes were charing way over SRP!

NEXT

There are low life's that are making people buy the whole set even if they just want one!

These people are the lowest of the low!

Taking advantage of people and making a mockery of their supporters!
It reminds me of a racial insensitive joke:
"T'was the night before Christmas and the Jew Bastard said/ Now is the time to raise the price of the sled"

I'd rather pay the inflated price at or on auction than support these common bottom feeders and low life opportunists!

Think about your money!

If you want an honest dealer

  1. They way I see it is people need to make a living. If people pay, which in many cases they do. Why not take advantage of the situation? I don't agree with you calling them scum and such. They are opportunists. Also people get so hyped with the new releases of the dolls! It is very good for business. I normally just try to own about five. If I want one, I need to sell one. What do you think about people selling dolls at more than retail on ebay? What about free convention dolls? Would you call them scum? I am guilty of that. If people are willing to pay alot then I am willing to accept their money! In the end they are only dolls.

  2. I rather give my money to another doll collector not an Integrity dealer

  3. Doll or not....Price gouging is wrong. Taking advantage of people will come back to bite them in the butts. You have to wonder what other shadey business practices they may be engaging in. Are you really a valued customer or just another buck? I know what dealers I will never use now. Imagine someone doing this with a life saving medicine..it's not a doll...but it would still be wrong! Carl is looking out for us all and it's good to know someone in our doll communtiy cares!

  4. YES!
I'm the Mother Teresa of the doll world!

Dealers who are profiteering are the lowest of the low!

Even lower than you know who!

What’s going on now, was not the vibe I was getting from people at the convention at ALL

Definitely not the vibe of Integrity either!
This last year they said they made many efforts to make products more affordable so why deal with this!

  5. I don't think Integrity should tolerate this either!

  6. I understand both points of view. Coming as a collector it sucks when you have to purchase a whole set when all you are really interested is in one character in the set. But, companies like IT do it to dealers all the time. They can't just buy "Cruz" they've got to buy an assortment of the WHOLE set. From there collectors decide which ones they chase afterwards. At least IT doesn't CREATE chase characters like other companies by producing less of one vs. the others. Finally, from a dealers perspective (which I am not...but have many as friends) they don't get much "mark up" in most of these products. Sometime they are making as little as $20 on each doll....yet they are investing their money upfront to provide the company with capital to produce and the consumer the dolls they want. If you really look at it the dealers are the unsung heroes of the whole collectors market.
Now Boxer...I know you are a sweet guy and extremely passionate. You don't know the guys from Angelic Dreamz so to call them scum is a bit much. They are just trying to make it in a tough economy just like everyone else. They are not price gouging they are letting you know that their policy on this set is you must buy them all....if you want the chase character. MANY COMPANIES DO THIS. They did not invent this marketing plan. As a consumer you have the right to buy from them or not. I applaud vendors like Happily Ever After and others like them. But I don't crucify the other companies for choosing to do what they will.
If you really don't agree with this practice you should start a thread on the WClub and see what IT has to say on the matter. In the end, they could really take care of the problem by creating more product to appease demand.

  7. I said somewhere that I think this collection was sent to the factory the same time the other Dynamite Boy was sent to the factory so Integrity had no idea really how many units would move.

Perhaps they will make adjustments in the future.
They feel its pretty difficult to gage public interest.
I think its easy to tell what people like (just look back to 2006) and maybe a designer over there has too much artistic freedom (?)

    As for these Dreams people
    I don't like them.
In the doll world there are really only two entities that make me vomit and they're one of them.
What they did just shows they're common profiteers.
Overcharging for sold out dolls is understandable but to charge above SRP or force collectors to pay for dolls they don't want is just low class.
and Don't tell me its to make up for Integrity dolls that didn't sell!
My dealer simply sells dead dolls at a discount and they move!
So why should I have to pay for someone's dead Monograms!
    Please

  8. Wow that joke is not appropriate at all in this or any context. That you'd choose to post it is far more disgusting than what the retailers did. Would posting that to illustrate your point have been appropriate if it had been a joke comparing black people to thieves and crack heads? You should lay off the roids dude. They've clearly fried your brain. Ha ha just joking, isn't it funny?!
