2013 Integrity Toys Convention Registration BEGINS!

YES!
Much earlier than last year the 2013 Integrity Toys Convention Registration begins in February!
It will take place at Century Plaza Hyatt Hotel in Los Angeles from October 31-November 2.
This is the first time the convention has taken place on the West Coast and also the 10th convention.

There are many changes in store as the information email states and one of the BEST  inovations is a method of diminishing wait times.

One of the only downfalls of the convention (for me at least) is waiting on line to pay for merchandise once inside the gift shop.
Some may say camping out from 4 A.M. to 1 P.M waiting for the shop to open is a nightmare but I think they all enjoy it!
Now gift shop will be open in shifts according to the date and time you registered (WClub members get priority registration! that's why you need to join!)

Things that remain the same:

Several classes will be offered and Registration for them Begins April 15
There will be another Style Infusion Lab with increased numbers of dolls available
WClub Lunch for WClub Members ONLY
Welcome Kit
Fashion Royalty souvenir doll
Special Welcome Halloween Banquet

Not sure about other events like the 16 inch doll line lunch but more information will come in the long slow dragging months leading up to the convention!

Best advice:

Register as soon as possible if you want to go to insure a good spot in gift shop line!

Masters Of The Universe Classics Fighting Foe Men

Matty Collector unveiled a series of goodies at this February 2013 Toy Fair
Including:

New Castle Grayskull Prototype

Sneaks of figures for New Filmation characters subscription

Upcoming figures including King He-Man, Fang Man and Fighting Foe Men 3 pack

At first I wanted nothing to do with these guys! (which is usually a bad sign)
But
then I did the research and became obsessed!
They are actually based on box art for Masters Of The Universe model kits from the 80's
(of which I knew NOTHING about)
I must have this set!

GOOD NEWS

People HATE them!

This is a subscription only item (of which I'm not a subscriber) which means I have to wait for subscribers to get first dibs and then hurry for a chance at one or purchase one on Ebay.

List price for subscribers is $75 plus shipping

Not sure what it is about these guys that hooked me;
Love the colors and love the history!

I also strictly wanted to keep obscure figures out of my collection.

BUT
I need these

Maybe its the recent Grayskull fever I've caught since the Castle Graysull reveals but I love these!

So if youre a subscriber your lucky even if you can't stand them and want to sell them!

And good luck to ALL non-subscribers in getting one...(after I get mine)

NEW Masters Of The Universe Castle Grayskull 2013

At long last a NEW Castle Grayskull is here!

In Oct 2012 we were given a mock up (with measurements) and allowed to pre order Grayskull that Mattel said would ship in Nov/Dec 2013 for $250

At 2013Toy Fair fans scrambled for a look at an actual mud and mortar prototype.
Controversy ensued!

In a video interview with Reporter Pixel Dan, (seen here) a Mattel Representative said the castle has shrunk in size from the original measurements fans were sold:
Original measurements: 25”h x 26”w x 28”d
New measurements: 23"h x 18"w x 11.5"d (assuming this is with castle closed)

Many fans expressed annoyance and anger at this and several other details regarding the castle's features in hopes they would be changed for San Diego Comic Con in July and ultimately in the final product.

But its doubtfull.

Regardless

Yes, bigger is better and the cardboard mock up looks very exciting.
Some say much more exciting than the 3D prototype.

I'm just thrilled to have this NEW castle and actully have lost sleep just thinking about it.

I do hope it doesnt shrink any furthur and I hope we get it as planned with no reports of qualitly issues at all.

I JUST NEED SLEEP!!
LONG WAY TO GO!!
